This formula is a clever range of fish meals, milk proteins, nut meals and one of the carp’s most common natural food sources found in still waters across the country. Daphnia Magna is an asexual crustacean which feeds off algae and phyto plankton within the trophic levels. This crustacean is an extremely important natural food source for the carp throughout their life cycle and they will feed heavily on daphnia during the warmer months of the year. Daphnia is full of essential aminos and salts which are imperative to the carp's growth and osmoregulation.
 
Carp are extremely hard to catch when pre-occupied with natural food sources such as daphnia, bloodworm and dragonfly larve. However by adding Daphnia to this, an incredible blend of different meals and additives, we have created a natural formula which has proven to get results under these conditions. The natural food signals given off by the crustacean within this formula are too hard for the carp to resist and have produced incredible results when used on waters with a high concentration of natural daphnia populations.
 
Nitrogen and Protein content within the Daphnia is determined by the physiological state of the daphnia and the age of the individual crustaceans. We only purchase the highest quality Daphnia which has reached maturity within its life cycle to achieve maximum protein levels.
 
With all this in mind we have also included a liquid liver hydrolysate among other liquid additives to boost the aminos found in this formula even further. This bait has produced results time and time again throughout all seasons of the year and been prolific in still waters across the country.
